Hi All,

apologies for the long gap in posting - time has flown by due to the arrival of a very special christmas present last year - our baby daughter Mabel Rose was born on christmas eve!

Here is the little birth announcement card I designed for her.

Obviously my time has been taken up by other things but I have managed to get back to designing things in the last couple of months so I will update you with some new work soon!

I designed them a little birth announcement card - they wanted a penguin theme!

Wedding Commission

I have just finished a wedding commission for a lovely couple called Tim and Claudia. I did the full collection of stationary - Invites, RSVP and guest information. Claudia wanted to keep the designs quite simple with a bunting theme and simple text...

I'm off...

I'm off to Valencia for a few days with work...I'm a bit worried as it is my first work trip away but hopefully it will be fun! Passport packed, hair products packed, hairdryer plus diffuser packed...that's all the important stuff - the trials of curly hair! 

Back at crazy o'clock on saturday morning ....

I know the eiffel tower is not in valencia, but it is the only travel related image I had to hand!

Skiing horses anyone??!

Just a little design I have been working on...who knew horses could be so agile on the slopes... Must be the go faster stripes.

Further Festive Friends...

Here is another little festive design I am working on.... I can't decide if the robin wearing the jumper or the one reading the card are my favourites...I have a weakness for animals in glasses!!

Makery Mill Making....

Me and two of my good friends Sophie and Becky are starting up a little business called Makery Mill, we are initially selling craft kits and gifts but are hoping to expand into craft classes next year... We are currently frantically making things ready for the Leamington Christmas Market where we have a stall on the 9th December - do pop along if you are in the area!

I have been busying myself with bunting...

and also making "make your own paper chains" kits in lovely bright patterns...

Thinking about Christmas...

So the time has come to start thinking about my Christmas Card design, i have resolved to be organised this year and actually get them done early enough to post out!

Here are a few early sketches...I need to come up with some colours!!

I also think that 2013 will be the year that I stop drawing houses!

Wedding Celebrations....

Congratulations to my sister in law and brother in law-in law (?!) Laura and Lee who got married at Wasing Park in a lovely ceremony, they sun shone and it was a beautiful day... Laura looked stunning as always... I did the place names and menu's, and here is a little extra present I made as a gift from Sam and I....
